“Phil is the Swiss Army knife of writing… and I don’t mean the pathetic key ring one, I mean the really good one that can do anything!”
Although Philip is primarily known as a book author, he continues to write in a number of different guises. As a copywriter working with design companies he has written for Bradford & Bingley, Carlsberg-Tetley, Delvaux Chocolates, Löwenbräu, Sharp Electronics and Yorkshire Television. He has recently been working with the Mediamark agency on P&O’s Portunus Club magazine and P&O cruise brochures.
Philip was asked by Genesis to supply the extensive liner notes for their 2009 live CD and live DVD box sets, and this year has worked with drinks company Pernod Ricard on their corporate language. He has also been involved in the Creative Writing course run by poet and performance artist Curtis Tappenden at the University for the Creative Arts.
