PDQ back at the 606 - Thursday 17th September this year!

The Philip Dodd Quartet – Phil on piano, Paul Mason playing saxes and flute, Graham Brough on double bass and Will Awdry at the drum kit – are going to be in town again, but this time, just for a change, we are holding our traditional 606 Club gig in the early autumn (or let’s hope an Indian summer) rather than March.

And we’re raring to go, with fresh numbers to perform to friends old and new. Expect an evening of tasty food, convivial conversation and music that represents our signature blend of recognisable favourites alongside the totally unexpected and the charmingly under-rehearsed!

Here are a few favourite comments from the audience at last year’s gig to sum it all up: “Jazzalicious, nothing less”. “Sublime! Congratulations to all for uplifting the soul.” “Stay loose. And tight. How do you do that?”

Tickets are £25.00 a head, which includes supper, a free drink on arrival and two full sets of jazz. Doors open at 7.30pm and the first set starts at 8.30 approx., with a second set at around 10.00. The 606 Club is at 90 Lots Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0QD – do check out their website: www.606club.co.uk.

Tickets are already on sale and going on a first-come, first-served basis, so please make sure you reserve your tickets now by e-mailing Phil on mail@philipdodd.com.
