James Caan's book Get The Job You Really Want now out

Thursday 6th January is pub date for Get The Job You Really Want, the new title by James Caan, published by Penguin in their new Portfolio business imprint - Philip worked with James on the writing of the book, which we hope will be the first of a series. We'll post news on any events and round-ups of PR coverage - in the meantime, the good news is that WH Smith have selected the book as their Non-fiction Book of the Month in all their travel outlets - airports, railway stations etc - which Penguin are thrilled with since it bounces the book out of the business section (aka ghetto). Waterstones have also picked it as their Business Book of the Month for January. There will be a poster campaign running on National Rail and London Underground - keep your eyes peeled. To whet your appetite, here's a great quote from John Mullins of the London Business School: "Hits the nail on the head. In job-hunting, as in life, preparation is everything. Worth the price for Chapter 4 alone."
