PDQ sell out Chelsea's 606 Club

The Philip Dodd Quartet made a triumphant sell-out return to Chelsea’s eminently jazzy 606 Club on Thursday 3rd March. This year’s sets included many numbers the PDQ were trying out for the first time including Charles Lloyd’s ‘Migration Of Spirit’, the concentration-demanding 5/4 groove of Don Pullen’s ‘Saturday Nite At The Cosmos’ and a brand-new original called ‘Three Long Moons’. We were also honoured by a visit from jazz royalty, as vocalist Curtis Stigers, who was in town for a few days, came along to catch the show with Nick Revell, who was providing the stand-up comedy between sets again. To keep in the loop for future 606 events, mail Philip and we'll put you on the list.
