PDQ sell out Chelsea's 606 Club

The Philip Dodd Quartet made a triumphant sell-out return to Chelsea’s eminently jazzy 606 Club on Thursday 3^rd March. This year’s sets included many numbers the PDQ were trying out for the first time including Charles Lloyd’s ‘Migration Of Spirit’, the concentration-demanding 5/4 groove of Don Pullen’s ‘Saturday Nite At The Cosmos’ and a brand-new original called ‘Three Long Moons’. We were also honoured by a visit from jazz royalty, as vocalist Curtis Stigers, who was in town for a few days, came along to catch the show with Nick Revell, who was providing the stand-up comedy between sets again.
